WincovER Simulator Launch & Demonstration

In this session, the Window Shading Association of Australia (WSAA) will officially launch its new WincovER simulator and demonstrate how this new tool estimates the energy savings of window coverings in the home. The WincovER simulator is a simple online tool that allows retailers to enter a few basic details from their clients, such as postcode, whether they live in a house or apartment, the age of the home, their heating type, glazing type, etc and the window covering they are considering. The WincovER simulator compares energy use with and without those coverings and the results show estimated annual savings in heating and cooling energy as well as emission reductions and the tool also allows clients to clearly compare window covering options to maximise savings.
